My point was.. there are others who have posted excellent solutions to
the problem..  but there is a much more important problem here - the
ehtics of an internal, knowledgable worker.  Data security is very
important - and must be vigilantly enforced.  BUT  the way you addressed
your original problem (being Attacked by this ex-sys admin) leads me to
believe that this person requires swift disciplinary action -- so
therefore the problem is two fold...

My comment was also not meant to reflect the good people at Motorola (I
have met a few of you from prior conferences)- but this the second time i
recall someone at Motorola asking about how to defend (secure) their
systems against internal people.  A situation somewhat similar occured at
a company I was with a few yrs ago.. the person who 'attacked' or hacked
was an employee who had prior knowledge of the system...  he was very
swiftly fired.

Hope you can accept my explanation..and allow me to continue to use my
Motorola Cell Phone  :)
