Raju,

When you install NOMAD, it provides support for multiple versions. The
different versions are denoted by a letter preceding "NOMAD2". The default
(normally, your production) version is just "NOMAD2". Many sites save 2-3
versions. If you have 2, one is normally the most recent version, so that
developers can test their applications before it is made the production
version. Three versions works like two, except you also retain the prior
version ... then if you have a real serious problem, you can go back and
test the problem under an older version.

We use the 3-version setup, and have found it to be very useful. I can't
be of much detailed help on MVS as we are a VM shop.

>From your description, it sounds like you had multiple NOMAD versions at one
time, but no longer do (or at least, no longer have the "A" version).
