NOMAD was a good mainframe package in it's time but the lack of a GUI interface
is now a real drawback.  I have switched to Microsoft SQL/Server on a
local area network and wouldn't use anything else.  The speed of access rivals
NOMAD2 on a mainframe but costs about 1% as much.  It's a great system
especially with the new Windows front end software.  I use Microsoft Visual
Basic and love it.  /L
